Ghogas is also a Muslim dominated village located in Jakhnidhar of Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand with total 34 families residing. This village is situated some what in between of CHANDRABADNI temple & ANDHRETHI village.It's a compact type of village in the sense that all houses here are built close to each other. It is situated above the main road with all necessary amenities that a village should have.The village also consist of a mosque where 5 times nmaaz is being performed every day, it has many apple trees and other fruit trees as well within village itself.

The road which leads towards the village is still not that perfect for vehicle and pedestrian's ,many people around use shortcut path to reach the village. since it is quiet above the main road you will be tried after reaching the village but the people residing here are habitual of this ,but the road which is built to roam around the village is perfect for pedestrian's.One more advantage of being above the main road is that the village has got many beautiful scenario's , one can look far away .

The main occupation of people i.e. men is baker or in hotels while women opt for farming and housekeeping.

POPULATION :-

The village has population of 129 of which 47 are males while 82 are females as per population census 2011.

In ghogas children population with age 0-6 is 20 which makes up 15.50% of total population .

Average sex ratio of village is 1745 which is higher than Uttarakhand state average of 963.

Child sex ratio for the village is 818 , lower than Uttarakhand average of 890.

Ghogas village has lower literacy rate compared to Uttarakhand.

In 2011, literacy rate of village was 77.98% compared to 78.82% of Uttarakhand. Here male literacy stands at 91.67% while female literacy rate was 71.23%.
