It is a Muslim dominated village located in Tehri garhwal district ,block Jakhanidhar, panchayat Kaphalna. This village consists of many beautiful scenario's ,since it is located somewhat under the valley i.e. it's located below the main road . It's location and the people living here makes it so nice place to live . It is surrounded by beautiful mountains from all over nothing can be compared to it's natural beauty .

The village has got around 30 - 40 families all Muslim's. It also got one panchayat ghar, barat ghar, and most important for Muslim's i.e. Mosque .The village has got all basic facilities such as water supply, electricity and cemented roads too around.

The basic occupation for people still living here is farming ,and other's who left village are settelled in cities but they still have their houses there. The women around here perform all house tasks ,farming , while men are engaged to do other essential works . Almost every men here have an occupation of baker,  in some or other way each one is related to hotels and all.

The beauty of this village can be witnessed from the pics above, how beautiful and relaxing place it is .In summer's the day's are sunny and the night is so perfect .Whereas in winter's it's too cold and some times there is snowfall too. It becomes hard to go out and work in winters but people here they still work for their livings.

All people here are hard-working , and I must thank ABDUL JAVED from Andhrethi for providing me with these beautiful photos of the village.
